With technology and social media, do business cards still matter?
Shockingly, they do still matter, particularly at networking events or when you are visiting clients.
The only difference? You need to make your business card stand out and leave an impression that will make the receiver want to take action.
At this point, every industry is crowded. It's very easy to find businesses online for all of your needs, making door-to-door sales irrelevant. But business cards still have good use in our technology-driven society.
f you want to stand out from the crowd, you need to make sure that your business card is memorable and visually appealing.
Here are three ways to do just that:
1. Have a good design. Your business card should be well-designed, but that doesn't mean it has to be boring! Some people think that having an interesting design makes it harder for them to read what's on the card, but this isn't true at all — it actually helps people remember what's on the card if it's visually appealing enough for them to want to look at it again later!
2. Make sure there's plenty of room for all of your relevant contact information on the front side of the card (so you don't have to flip it over).
3. Include some sort of call-to-action on the backside of your card so that people will know what they can do next after reading about your services.
