Being a small business doesn't mean you have to have small ideas.

Make sure to post at least 3-4 times weekly, even if it is something you created on the fly — consistency is key.

At the end of each week in June, do a weekly wrap-up post with the biggest or most interesting news in your industry that week. Not only will this paint you as the go-to for knowing what's going on in the industry, it may also increase your engagement and encourage conversations with people in your industry.

Create a day-in-the-life-post that revolves around your different responsibilities or responsibilities people in your industry have.

For example, you can easily film a few clips for your Instagram Reels showing how you start your morning as a real estate agent — "Day-in-the-life of a real estate agent who has two open houses in one day."

There are so many possibilities and it doesn't have to be just about your main job. You can include any side hustles or things you do outside of your priorities in the office.

I am putting holidays in air quotes as I don't consider many of these holidays, but go to a national holiday website such as NationalToday and find a holiday that you want to post about. Whether you want to choose something serious along the lines of "National Homeownership Month" or you want to pick something a bit more silly like "National Hazelnut Cake Day," either one will make for a simple and easy post.

This prompt is so simple to fill you — I bet you barely had to even think about it.

Some examples:

  • How to get your credit score up this summer

  • How to buy a home this summer

  • How to payoff your debt this summer

  • How to declutter your kitchen this summer

  • How to increase employee productivity this summer

  • How to devour the best baked goods this summer

They don't even have to be real HOW-TOs. You can simply be promoting something.

For example: How to buy a home this summer can easily be followed by "by finding the right realtor with all the right connections. Call me today if you're looking to move!"

What did you accomplish in the month of May? Time to show it off in the month of June.

Maybe you finally ran that 5K you had been training for or maybe you completed a project you had been working on for months. Whatever it is, brag about it. There's no shame in showing off your game.

Examples:

  • Realtors can easily show all of their listings/buyers

  • Bakeries can easily show cakes they made

  • Content creators can easily show their most viewed reels + provide tips

  • Retail stores can easily show off any successful promotions or sales

The possibilities are endless!
